Who are you? Tell us a little about yourself or something that would surprise us.

I am Texan born and raised, from small country town Temple/Cameron. I’m also a first generation college graduate from University of Houston, and moved to Houston when I was 20 so that I could pursue my passions and grow more. My passion has always been serving others and being funny. I see humor in EVERYTHING, sometimes I get in trouble because of that. I’m a huge marvel/movie/show junkie. I can talk movies ALL DAY. I’m always looking for ways to better myself, not only for my own growth but also for my family. I love being a father and husband, and want to be my best version of myself for them!

How and when were you introduced to Behemoth?

One of my colleagues was a member here and he really enjoyed it and I was already starting to think about getting back in shape. Even though some would argue that “round” is a shape I didn’t like that shape.

What are you most proud of, physically, mentally or both since beginning with us?

It would probably be mentally having the ability to block out the noise in my head when I’d rather lay in bed at 5am. Telling myself to get up and go #dowork

Why Behemoth?

Great community, great coaches. Love the coaches’ attention to detail, super important to me.

What next? What are you excited about pursuing here in the future?

Just focusing on being better every day, I don’t really focus on anything too concrete in the gym. I’m definitely more of a “enjoy the process” person in the gym
