Who are you? Tell us a little about yourself or something that would surprise us.

I am 31 years old, originally from El Salvador. I will soon marry my high school sweetheart, the father of my three children. Becoming a mom changed my life and motherhood has taught me many life lessons. The love we share is the greatest gift from God that I have ever received. My children have pushed me to strive for a better future and a better me. I love to read and spend time with family and friends as well as I roller skate and take my kids to the park. I work full time as a Dental Assistant. I’m most thankful for life. I truly believe that life is a blessing and it is a privilege each day to wake up. I feel I'm the luckiest person alive because I have everything that I dreamed of and that's how I know I am blessed. I can't give the glory to anyone but God my Savior.

How and when were you introduced to Behemoth?

I found Behemoth through a Google search I was looking for the best CrossFit gym and Behemoth had really good reviews. I told myself I will give it a try and that's when I contacted Coach Aja. I came to the gym and Coach Aja explained everything to me and I made the decision to join Behemoth. It has been one of the best decisions.

What are you most proud of, physically, mentally or both since beginning with us?

I am proud of doing CrossFit, which is something I never thought I could do. I am proud of the changes in my body and mind, and I feel stronger than ever! I have been able to consistently attend GPP classes 3 times per week at 6 am. I am grateful for the coaches I have who are always there to push me and to let me know that I CAN DO IT even when I doubt myself! I am continuing to get better every day and I love the feeling of getting stronger physically and mentally. The changes in my overall strength and balance is unbelievable. I am a competitive person by nature so setting personal challenges for myself and then achieving them makes it very fulfilling. Everyday life for has changed for me now.

What has been your biggest, yet most rewarding obstacle to overcome, whether in the gym or on your health journey to date?

First off, I love food. Any food! I've always struggled with the way I eat, but since I started coming to Behemoth, participating in the challenges has helped me a lot because I know the effort I have to put and it motivates me to make better decisions. You all have helped me to find that spark again and I couldn't be more grateful.

Why Behemoth?

It's because of the coaches and the community. All Behemoth coaches are extremely supportive. I love how the coaches really care about you as a person. I just to say how much I enjoy coming to Behemoth every morning. I truly appreciate Behemoth and look forward to what I can achieve with all the support that you all provide me on a daily basis.

What next? What are you excited about pursuing here in the future?

I'm excited to continue learning, getting better at movements, and working on technique. I am working on getting stronger at strict press and with the help of all the coaches I know I will continue to get stronger.
