What does HIIT stand for?

HIIT stands for HIgh Intensity Interval Training. HIIT workouts are short but intense - usually around 20 to 30 minutes.

HIIT workouts are great because they challenge you, make you feel really good after the workout, and burn calories more efficiently than steady state cardio.

HIIT is also really fun to do in the gym - many people keep going to the gym because HIIT is so fun!

What are Some Sample HIIT Workouts?

HIIT Workouts use a variety of equipment like kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, bodyweight,  jump ropes, and more.

In involves lifting weights, running, jumping, doing gymnastics movements,  and all sorts of other stuff.

Some example HIIT Workouts would include the following (there's a million of them to do - and they're never ending, so the challenge never ends!)

HIIT Workout 1

As Many Rounds as Possible in 10 Minutes

10 Push-Ups

20 Air Squats

400m Run

HIIT Workout 2:

4 Rounds for Time:

10 Push-Ups

20 Air Squats

400m Run

HIIT Workout 3:

1 Mile Sandbag or Wallball Carry

Every 2:00 stop and to 10 burpees
